BAAPT's success relies on our enthusiastic members. One of our newer members has jumped right In as an active volunteer. Meet Tim Beggs: I have ISTJ preferences and am a fourth generation Bay Area native. I grew up in Walnut Creek and have lived in Oakland, San Francisco, and on the Peninsula. I currently live in San Jose. In fact, I consider the entire Bay Area home. I became interested in type as part of a path towards a career transition. After graduating from college I began my career in politics, first working for the Governor of Oregon and on Capitol Hill. Later I managed campaigns here in the Bay Area.

Managing Career, Organizational, and Life Change Using Type
Career Counselor Judy MacLaren led 41 participants in an exploration of two change models: William Bridges' Transitions Model which includes endings, a neutral zone, and beginnings; and the Lee Hecht Harrison Behavior-Based Change Model that encompasses anticipation, letting go, disorientation, reappraisal, and recommitment stages. We then reflected on how this ties into our type preferences. Happy New Year! With the onset of 2015, it's a time to reflect on the accomplishments of the past, and anticipate changes for the future.
I look forward to another year spent with you to learn more about Type, and to apply it to our everyday lives. Wishing you a happy, healthy and prosperous 2015, Julie Wright, BAAPT Marketing Director P. S. Don't hesitate to contact us with questions. We look forward to seeing you at this event. New Member Directory Coming Soon! The new quarterly edition of the BAAPT Membership Directory will be published in early January. Members' type preferences will be among the information included. Note: If for any reason you don't want your type preferences displayed in the directory, please email [email protected] before January 10th. Looking Ahead Check out BAAPT's programs for 2014-15
